Pharmacology: Mechanism of Action: Econazole is an imidazole antifungal. It is used topically in the treatment of superficial candidiasis and in dermatophytosis and pityriasis versicolor. Triamcinolone is effective in the treatment of corticosteroids-responsive dermatoses because of their anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and anti-allergic actions. Econazole is absorbed little through skin or mucous membranes. Triamcinolone is absorbed from sites of topical application. When applied topically, particularly to large areas, when the skin is broken, or under occlusive dressings, sufficient triamcinolone may be absorbed to give systemic effects. Triamcinolone has a half-life in plasma about 2 to over 5 hours. It is bound to plasma albumin to a much smaller extent than hydrocortisone. Triamcinolone is metabolized mainly in the liver but also in the kidney and are excreted in the urine.
For the treatment of eczema, inflammatory dermatoses with mycotic and/or bacterial infection, inflammatory dermatomycoses caused by dermatophytes, yeast and mould. Mycotic infections in the body fold with the presence of bacterial secondary and mixed infections. Moist, oozing, acute or subacute dermatoses. Paronychia, perleche, diaper dermatitis, superficial pyodermia.
Apply sparingly in thin layers by smoothing gently into the affected area twice daily for 14 days. Discontinue the therapy once the skin has healed.
High doses may have a greater tendency to produce proximal myopathy, if happened discontinued the administration of drug.
Tuberculous, syphilis or viral skin infections. Hypersensitivity to imidazole or corticosteroids.
Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids should always be considered. Long-term continuous topical application of corticosteroids should be avoided especially in children or when occlusive dressing is applied. The face, more than other areas of the body, may exhibit atrophic changes after prolonged treatment with potent topical corticosteroids. Avoids contact with eyes.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation: Drug should only be administered to pregnant and breast-feeding mother after their potential benefits have been thoroughly weighed against possible hazards.

Hypersensitivity was observed in very rare case only. Occasional local irritation manifested by burning and itching sensation may occur.
Keep container well closed. Store below 30°C. Protect from light.
